This coffee comes from the Cedral community farmers in the Ituango region of Antioquia, Colombia. For the past 40 years, life for many in this area has been riddled with uncertainty due to violence — including displacement, extortion, and worse. Despite these challenges, the community of Cedral continues to produce excellent coffees. The fact that farmers in the area are able to produce coffees this high in quality is an ode to their craft and and perseverance in building for a brighter future. This coffee is sweet, balanced, with a smooth and rounded acidity.
