You will be notified with tracking info via email before each purchase shipment. Coffee and subscription services are non-returnable after purchase. Non-annual coffee subscriptions may be cancelled anytime before the next billing cycle. Returns of unworn merchandise with tags are fully-refundable within 10 days of receipt.   • Where is your coffee roasted?
    Our coffee is roasted at our Middlebury, Vermont roastery and shop! Visit us at 24 Merchants Row, Middlebury, VT 05753. We’d love to have you.
  • Is your coffee organic?
    Many of our coffees are produced using organic practices at their respective farms. Official organic certifications, however, can be very costly for small-scale coffee farms. Small farming operations are often priced out of obtaining these official certifications, even though they practice organic farming methods. Some small family and community-owned farms have no fiscally viable option but to use products from time to time to sway pests away from their crop - but use of such products typically only occurs on the plant far before the coffee fruit develops. We source our coffees from small farms and producers who provide the highest quality beans, use sustainable and earth-friendly practices, and pay their farmers a fair and livable wage.   • How do you source the coffee you roast?
    We select and seasonally source our green coffee from our supplier partners who seek out the best offerings available from around the globe.
  • Do you ship outside of the continental US?
    We do not currently offer general shipping outside of the continental US, but plan to in the near future. Stay tuned! If you have a specific inquiry regarding placing an international order, please contact us at
  • How should I store my coffee?
    We recomend storing your coffee in a dry place in a bag or air-tight container with a de-gassing valve (hint: our zipper bags have degassing valves). Whole bean coffee will always store longer than ground coffee, so we advise that you grind your coffee shortly before you plan to enjoy it if possible.
  • How long will my coffee remain "good" after the roast date?"
    This is up for much debate and opinion. We tyically see our coffees peak around 5-10 days after it has been roasted (we won't release a coffee for retail sale before 3 days in most cases, sometimes 5 depending on the coffee). After that it will remain very good but slowly decline for the next month in whole bean form. If properly stored, coffee may maintain its best flavors for longer. Ground coffee should be enjoyed within a week after being ground. Ultimately, your tastes are the best guide.
